16/08/08 boost port added ready for next sprint where we will be running on methanol.
The Sprinter
Six inches added to a standard lambretta GP frame, wide rear wheel - suzuki moped front wheel and forks, aluminium hard frame with no rear suspension.
Motor: Wiseco Suzuki TS250 piston, piston ported, motoplat internal rotor ignition with weight welded to it, advance control unit for timing. Port timings are 189 exhaust, 130 tsfs, 176 inlet. 36mm amal smoothbore, custom pipe. Li 150 gearbox with 17/46 sprockets. and standard 4 plate clutch.
Pictures below show the motor, rev counter, part way through the rebuild and the old 1990's yellow peril...
