Racer Motor
Rapido 250 cylinder, piston is a Wiseco Kawasaki H2750 and the crank is an HPC 60mm with RD400 rod.  The head is an MB large cast head central plug and the whole thing runs on direct air cooling.  The ignition is an Indian electronic with the flywheel machined down.  Gears are LI with 18/47.  Carb is 35 TMX and pipe a sterling.

The cylinder has been initially ported as far as inlet and exhaust to 170 and 182 respectively.  The transfers are at 120.  The intention is that once other aspects are dealt with I will raise the transfers, re-aim them and possibly add a few and re-work a few other aspects to widen the power and get it breathing better.

I was surprised that the recommended size inlet manifold didn't fit without machining fins and the exhaust port studs were in the wrong place.  I was also surprised that there are two 250 cylinders (race and classic) but this is not advertised or advised when ordering.  I had the classic sent to me thankfully, but this had been shortened in length to 101mm, which if I had run standard piston and 116 rod would have needed a packing plate for what would have been a standard kit.

Ultimately this motor may end up being the next motor for the sprinter for when we run out of development.
